I am glad to see that all these award shows are taking CoVID 19 safety very seriously. Personally, I did not think it was that necessary for them to meet in person this year as awards could easily be announced online. Plus, not many people are that interested in these award shows anymore. They seem to not fully represent the American populations opinions or diversity in their preliminary and final selections. Then again, awards are very subjective, too. All of these performances are subject to pure opinion. Personally, most of the Oscar winning movies I have seen are not my favorite. Although they showcase some amazing acting and directions, it is very obvious that they are pandering to a specific audience. I wish that we could somehow make the perfect award show which showcased the true representation of the American opinion but unfortunately I don’t think it is possible. Thanks for reading.
