Playwright Tracy Letts on reviving ‘Bug’ on Broadway
Chicago Sun-Times: When Tracy Letts penned his play “Bug” 30 years ago, it seemed to come at a specific moment when conspiracy theories had become more integrated into mainstream society.
Letts, who would go on to win a Pulitzer Prize (for writing the play “August: Osage County”) and two Tony Awards (for acting and best play), said he grew up in a time when conspiracies were passed person-to-person “urban legend style.”

I personally have never heard, watched, or read this show before, but after reading this article, I am definitely going to try and find a recording of it or at least the script to read because this seems so interesting, and the production shots that are included in the article look so amazing and so cool, and I'm so excited to see more Of it ICan see from the production photo which would I'm assuming is a hotel but the way that the set designer and all the artist on the production team created this feeling of being in a hotel room is so accurate and I think that's soCool and it really feels like you're inside a hotel or a motel room. One of the aspects that I really like about this is how they have a dresser and laundry baskets at the edge of the stage to make the illusion that there is a wall there and that we are seeingMagically see-through a wall, and I think that is so cool and just makes the room feel complete rather than just leaving that wall empty.
