The cost of college has always been something that has confounded me a bit, I do think that education should cost money in order to sustain itself but the amount it costs is pretty high considering what you’re getting out of it. You do get a degree that might help you in the workforce and some of the knowledge you need for your field but the money you put in for that is multiple years of the pay you would get in that industry, college is important but I feel like tens of thousands of dollars is a bit much even though you’ll be gaining a lot(especially in the modern day where having a degree doesn’t guarantee you a job anymore, people with degrees and without degrees are struggling to find employment especially since entry level jobs aren’t really entry level with employers wanting previous experience)
