I have always loved the work of Studio Ghibli and of Hayao Miyazaki. His movies have always had a certain magical aura that can create emotions that no other movie or media has been able to do for me, and I know that this is also the case for many other people. I think a Studio Ghibli Park is an amazing idea, and I am very glad that Hayao Miyazaki is playing a role in its creation. I think the focus on it embodying the feelings of Ghibli movies but also working with the natural surroundings is important, as many amusement parks take no care for the second part and instead create an area that just sticks out from what is around it. I don't necessarily plan to go to Japan any time soon, but if I do, Ghibli park will undoubtedly be one of my stops.

I am so excited for this park I cannot wait to go see it as soon as it is available and I have money again. I have loved studio ghibli for so long and getting to go see it is something I’m dying to do. Also the fact that it’s going to be intended to take you into the world of studio ghibli without disturbing nature is perfect because I hate rides and I love the immersion that is offered by universal orlando and the diagon alley there. I’m really really looking forward to this park. From the very few images that I have seen so far the park is gorgeous and I can already tell it’ll be the perfect place to represent what I always wanted as a kid. I am looking forward to stalking the instagram page to look for even more photos and updates about the park to see what it’s like.

I really love the whole suite of Studio Ghibli movies, and I remember writing about an article freshman year about when this park opened originally, so it’s cool to see them expand and have a really popular park. The photos that are shared in this article are so detailed and gorgeous - I especially find the Howl’s Moving Castle building to be incredibly accurate to the cartoon nature of its origin while still seeming like a part of the world they have built in the theme park. I also love the use of the Catbus character for actual transportation for the park. I think it's a neat combination of a really smart transportation solution and a very themed, cute addition to the park itself (and the design is incredibly successful). This is definitely on my theme park bucket list, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how they expand and refine different parts of the parks to make the best Studio Ghibli themed experience possible.

I’ve been watching the development of this park for a while. I am actually so excited about this. I love Studio Ghibli and I also love theme parks. It's perfect for me. I am hoping to visit this one day. I hopefully plan on going to Japan sometime in the future. I just need money and a good travel buddy. Ghibli movies are so magical and I’m really looking forward to seeing how this park brings this magic to life. Howl’s moving castle is one of my favorite movies of all time so I would definitely be most excited to see how they bring the castle to life. Ghibli animation is often very fluid so I’m curious to see how they have made that fluidity in real life. I’m also kind of worried about this park because I have such high hopes for it and I’m scared of being disappointed. Looking at the photos I’m sure I won’t be disappointed though.
