I am the last person who should be trying to speak on any authority about business or economic or general financial moves. I understand little to none of it, it all just whooshes over my head. However, I do find it interesting that they are doing a spin off company. The VFX industry has never been particularly interesting to me in the past but as I grow older and see what they can do within film, television and internet media I grow more and more interested. Now I may be remembering incorrectly, but I remember hearing about the horrendous crunch time that a lot of the VFX workers in these companies had to endure to get the final product. I know it has long been an issue within the video game industry but I had never really made the connection to the film VFX industry. It makes me wonder if the establishment of a spin off company will help make it a better working environment for its employees.
