A Smorgasbord of Shakespeare, With Some New Trimmings
The New York Times: No matter how many Lady Macbeths I see go mad, no matter how many Hamlets I watch have existential crises, I am always game for new productions of Shakespeare. Go ahead: Call me old-fashioned.
It’s a good thing, then, that I’m a critic in a city that, in any given season, has a smorgasbord of works by that old Elizabethan scribbler.
