I am not involved with many tools nor do I use many of them, but the reciprocating saw is a tool that I am definitely familiar with. Every reciprocating saw that I have ever used has been enormous and hard to hold. I love the design of this new saw created by Skil because it looks like it has a much smaller format while still providing a huge amount of cutting power. I really enjoy seeing the evolution of the battery powered power tool. I have always heard complaints about them lacking power, but honestly it seems like they have come very far with the battery technology that they are using in these tools now. It also gives great versatility if you have all of the tools in one system you can share batteries so that not every tool in the kit requires the purchase of its own battery as those can get pretty expensive. It makes tasks much easier not having to rely on having to work near a power source.
