I wonder how many more of these sad articles I'm going to be commenting on. It's impossible to escape this on any form of media. I feel like this is all I've thought about and talked about for the past few days. Rightfully so, though. The entire world is on pause and literally none of these shows can go on. Finding out that our productions at CMU were cancelled was really devastating for me, as I have just declared and was experiencing my first show assignments. I was just about to start a process, but I know the design team was working hard for so much longer than I. The fact that these stories are not unique and the entire world can feel and experience this impact is quite eerie. There is no haven, there is no place that is immune. We are all humans and are all vulnerable, so maybe more and more people can start to see each other as equals.
