Ongoing U.K Productions Put Film Crews at Risk for Coronavirus

To say that film crews are exercising social distancing, yet still in production is slightly comical. I'm very curious to see how they are going about this and how this is affecting the production. Though it sucks, because of the nature of the job, TV and film productions should all be halted. Like theatre, everyone works too closely making the risk factor extremely high. There are clothes, props, surfaces, and so on that are handled by too many people, there is a significant level of human interaction, many people have to be in close proximity of the other, and because of the nature of the job being done, it's impossible to properly sanitize everything on a regular basis and kill potential germs. It's just impossible to exercise the necessary health precautions when working on productions so this doesn't really make sense. If one person has the virus, it is very likely that most of them will catch it. Clearly someone is not looking at the bigger picture here... I hope that by now they have realized that this cannot work.
