Christopher Columbus on Stage: No Respect
New York Theater: In “The Thanksgiving Play,” a satire by Larissa FastHorse that debuted at Playwrights Horizons last year and has become one of the most produced plays throughout the country, Jaxton, the woke high school drama teacher, shows no respect for Christopher Columbus or Columbus Day — just the latest in a long line of theater people to feel that way.
