AutoCAD Blog | Autodesk: Almost every week we are submitting some type of files to sub-consultants or contractors. Sometimes they need the entire project (drawing), and other times just certain sheets. And, not only do we have this variance of submittal, they sometimes need the drawings in a different version of AutoCAD. Let’s discuss some of the different tools that AutoCAD provides to make it easy to submit any part of a drawing in any version of AutoCAD.

AUTO CAD is an essential tool for the construction industry in general, I found this article very helpful, for it outlined how to make a drawing that meets the industry standard and what command lines are already provided. In drama school, this topic is less touched in our classes and productions, for we are drafting for our peers, not the people who are responsible for us or we are responsible to on a business level. Once we get there, just like we must do in someday, the precision and the liability of our drawings should meet all the requirements on legality or contract use level. I have going through the points made in the article, but they just lead me into a spiral of questions. I really hope we can have some time to put more details into this field during our study, which will significantly improve our readiness to be a professional.
