It is interesting to see the duties of a TD spelled out by a theatre company. From what I currently know about CMU's Technical Design and Direction program it seems that our graduates would be very well prepared to handle this job comprehensively. It's nice to find connections between what we're learning in Basic PTM and the expectations in this job posting.
