Seven Seriously Hardcore Project Management Apps
www.lifehack.org: Running your own business can be hard — there’s time-tracking, invoicing, and contacts to keep track of, plus knowing what your entire team is doing (especially important if you manage a team remotely). If you’re trying to use a different solution for each one of these problems, things can easily get overwhelming (and the bill can get high!). These apps can help you stay on top of it all at once, in one spot.

I think it's great that there are so many tools designed for project management on the market. With the sheer volume, and the range of pricing (from almost free to fairly expensive), there is ceasing to be a reason for a business of any size to remain disorganized. I think new businesses can do quite well with software such as this, because they are often open to new software and generally receptive to new ideas. Older businesses however, especially those which are run by older folks, are apt to face more of a challenge in converting to what is, in many ways, a more efficient system for project and budget tracking. They may not see all of the advantages of a new system, or may simply not understand the general principles of program use. Either way, it will be interesting to see how business changes as more and more aspects of it are converted to the digital world.
