Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction Set for Sept. 22
Stage Directions: Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS will present the 27th annual Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction on Sunday, Sept. 22. Taking place at the intersection of Shubert Alley and West 44th, the Broadway flea market will have unique Broadway merchandise for sale and auction, as well as show experiences and star meetings. A full list of the events up for auction as well as some of the special merchandise on tap after the jump—along with a video preview of the event.

I think that this is such a great event. The idea of allowing fans to purchase a piece of a production for an amazing causing is awesome. I know many friends who would spend big bucks in order to get some the things that are going to be sold. It is also only appropriate that the money goes to AIDS research. I say this because the effects of AIDS, and the AIDS epidemic have play a very big role in American theater. For example, it has sparked shows like Rent and Angles in America.
