Side note they should really make it easier to file your taxes independently of a corporate entity but alas then there go some incentive to join the machine. So many good things are happening to New York I hope I get to benefit when I move there eventually. 90% of responders being recruited is just amazing. I feel like so often you hear about these sorts of things and it ends up being a scholarship type of situation where maybe 15% of applicants make it through so to see that this resource is not only available but also not the most agonizing gamble to get into is relieving. This on top of grants are going to contribute to much to the arts and hopefully dispel the Van Gogh tortured starving artist mentality. Every artist works better when happy and not worrying if they are gonna spend their meal budget on materials.
