Beyond the season

InPark Magazine: Brian Morrow, owner of B Morrow Productions (BMP), has spent his career looking for ways to bridge creativity with practicality. Since its founding in 2018, BMP has grown from a one-person consultancy into two full studios: design and production, with more than 60 professionals working out of a 90,000 sq. ft. facility in Orlando, Florida.

This company looks really cool. I haven’t heard about them before, but despite this article reading like an advertisement for them I walk away with a good taste in my mouth. I think Morrow’s background adequately explains his career trajectory and the ideation behind his company as a whole. I really liked the section about working under pressure, as harsh budgets are probably the most important thing to consider in the live entertainment industry. I really dig their focus on building real, practical, and effective things, as I’ve always appreciated well-crafted physical pieces. The fact that BMP “formed a task force” to counteract the effects of tariffs on themselves and their industry is testament to their forward thinking nature, and bodes well for the future of their company. I think any organization that has the foresight, wherewithal, and ability to do things like that really sets itself up for success against any odds and sets itself apart from its competitors and contemporaries by exemplifying their proactivity in the face of a bad deal. I’m definitely going to do some more research into this company as this article has really piqued my interest.
