It's really unfortunate that despite living in Pittsburgh for a couple years now I've never actually had the pleasure of making a trip down to Kennywood. Kennywood is such an iconic part of Pittsburgh culture, and I'm really sad that I've never actually spent the time to go down there. It's definitely been a goal of mine on my Pittsburgh bucket list to make a trek down to Kennywood and I think that's something that would be a lot of fun to do this spring. I definitely think that this new Kennywood themed area will inspire me to make the trip down. Kennywood Junction sounds like a really exciting new idea and something that I really like about it is it seems to have the level of theme in a theme park that I like. I'm not a big fan of the Disney parks because I feel like they're a bit to heavily themed, and I prefer a lighter level of theming, such as what California’s Great America (rip, it’s closing) has.
