I really don't know how to feel about this partnership between Broadway World and Ticketmaster. Broadway ticketing is already so expensive, as that is one of the main criticisms of the art form as shows go into production. Ticketmaster notoriously, especially with their concerts that they host ticket purchasing from, is very well known to upcharge an insane amount, be not very user friendly, and have ridiculously processing fees. Sometimes that are almost the same price as the ticket itself, which is honestly insane to me because its all digital, so really why does it need 300 dollars to save my ticket confirmation on their servers. I would hate for Broadway shows to also suffer this fate even more so that now, and get even more criticism and hatred for their ticket prices and make it so that even less people can come see the shows and art that so many people put their time and effort into making.
