This is such a fun idea. As a big Harry Potter Fan, I always think it's cool to see things like this and I'm glad it's become a more popular idea. I remember doing a scavenger hunt at the Harry Potter store in NYC and winning a pin from that. (Getting a $25 ticket would be way cooler though.)
I've always wanted to see Cursed Child. I read the play after I finished reading the series because I wanted more from the characters and from the story. When I first heard it was actually running on Broadway, I knew I had to see it someday and I hope I do get that chance. I've seen short clips and it looks like this show was really well done, especially technically. Someone I know saw it when it was still two separate parts that had to be viewed on two days, and I'm sure that was a different experience. I wonder how that would affect a performance and an audience, to pick back up on something that they paused watching 24 hours ago and continue on with the story. Maybe someday I'll be lucky enough to watch the two part version in London. If not, I still hope to be able to see the condensed version.

This idea is fun, innovative, and a great opportunity for fans. It both allows fans to connect with the show through an online scavenger hunt and limit the people just applying to this for cheap tickets. Having an extra level of commitment to this event gets rid of the people who will apply to things like lotteries because a free ticket with a small level of commitment is appealing to anyone, not just fans of the show. When a production does things like a scavenger hunt everyone has fun. Good fans of the show are the major participants and they have a great time showing off their knowledge of the production they love. It's also remarkable advertising to specifically make these discounted tickets as the golden snitch. Having hidden tickets that are a great prize almost as if you caught the golden snitch and won the game is the perfect way to get fans involved.
