This seems like such a great idea and I am surprised that I haven't heard of more theaters doing it. I am sure this is very expensive for the theater to maintain, but it makes the theater so much more accessible which is undoubtedly an issue that many theaters, particularly operas, are facing. It is often not convenient to travel to a theater during rush hour and travel back late at night, and finding parking near many theaters can be almost impossible. Having an Uber voucher program is an amazing idea that will hopefully make more people attend operas and increase their reach. Additionally, I am going to see La Traviata in a few weeks, and I've had some trouble coming back on the bus from downtown late at night previously, so I may very well be making use of the Uber voucher. Overall, this seems like a great idea that any able theaters should adopt.
