Cheetos hologram 'marries' couple in Las Vegas chapel
www.avinteractive.com: A holographic brand mascot ‘married’ a couple in Las Vegas in the build-up to Super Bowl LVIII.
Chester Cheetah, the mascot for Cheetos, welcomed the couple to the Cheetos Chapel, which was built next to New York-New York Hotel & Casino’s Brooklyn Bridge.

Can someone explain to me why any single living human being would want to get married by a Cheeto freaking hologram? I am used to hearing strange stories from Vegas and Elvis impersonators marrying people. But a freaking Cheeto? Also who in their right mind, spends the money to make a Cheeto hologram and decides that it would be a good business investment. Like I understand that the idea was made as a ramp-up to the Super Bowl, but no one talked about it. I'm surprised something that crazy didn’t go viral enough for more people to see it. Overall it seemed like the stunt sort of flopped. Like I hope this couple was paid for what seems to me like a publicity stunt if they had to use their nuptials for this. I just think this is a perfect example of technology for the sake of technology. Overall, weird, and strange and I'm just confused
This is actually one of the stupidest things I have seen people do. Where does the want to get married by a cheetos hologram come from? Even if you are not the type of person who has been thinking about their wedding since they were little and organizing the details of what the day will look like WHY WOULD YOU WANT THIS TO BE YOUR DAY? I understand the “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” mentality is really strong and this probably is not the worst way someone could tie the knot but I find it strange that we have now gone to holograms and especially the tiger from cheetos. Obviously the superbowl creates this sort of craze with all of the ADs and every company promoting themselves but I personally think this is a little too far even for Vegas because this stunt could be cute in a theme park but not in a Vegas chapel.
I clicked on this article for a laugh. A Cheeto hologram marrying two people. I have a very visual sense of humor so this sent me. Personally, I would not want a Cheeto marrying me and my husband. Or would I? Is marriage something taken too seriously, or not seriously enough? Is the idea of marriage changing its meaning to people? It definitely used to be something more sacred and special, most people would marry for either love or need. But now, people will marry someone with a Cheeto beside them. The more I think about it the more I feel like it doesn’t matter. So what? It is stupid and not funny, but if the two people are happy and want to tell the story for years to come– so be it. I think people need to stop taking themselves so seriously, maybe this is a step in the right direction. A Cheeto is something nonpolitical and irrelevant, that's why it is funny to me. I wish them a long happy Cheeto filled marriage.
