Fewer Guns on TV Is a Result of the Hollywood Strikes, Study Reports

THIS! I was scrolling and looking for an article I felt I had something to contribute to. I have not heard anything about this before reading this article but I agreed with everything said. I am someone who really struggles with guns, I will not go see live theater or watch most movies if there are guns involved. I don’t have a specific trauma or reason to not like them but I have always had issues. I think my issue is rooted in noise sensitivity, but with that being said I have always found having guns in every show kind of unnecessary. I think we as a society consume far too much violence in our media which is only added to the violence we see in the news. I am happy to see people are starting to think about the consequences of guns on TV. I would love to see more discussion about this topic and research about further impacts.
