Okay, this is a little hilarious, although I feel bad for whoever may be getting fired for this. More work for the industry I guess. This does continue the concerns about the influence of AI that has free reign over systems and design. When it comes to systems, more and more people (and the AI companies are encouraging it) are utilizing AI for everyday tasks and communication, such as sending AI email responses or managing files. That opens up the option for complantancy and errors, particularly unknowing miscommunication. AI is often used for also automating tasks or writing scripts for automating tasks, and while it was always a risk of messing up and destroying data, with AI, that risk increases because of unchecked code and user errors, which certainly could have been a cause of this incident.
