Kennedy Center Honors to be held at Capital One Arena amid fight over adding Trump's name
PBS News: This year's Kennedy Center Honors will be held at Washington's Capital One Arena, not the riverfront building that's been at the center of a legal fight over adding President Donald Trump's name to the building.

I hate this ongoing fight so much. It is so clearly a fight that is happening because someone has decided he wants to throw a fit like a child. It is against the law to rename it and make it a “memorial” for someone else, but since the someone else is still fighting for it and is in a position of power to continue to fight for it, he has decided that he is more important than the law. He has decided that in so many ways but has really decided that because people have not rolled over to let this one happen then he is going to be a child about it. It sucks that the Kennedy Center Honors have to happen somewhere that is not the Kennedy Center but at least they are not rolling over just so that they can hold the awards there. I hope that they drop this whole thing soon and the Kennedy Center can be open again as usual.
