This is a really neat piece of technology, and one that pushes me to think about how far we've come technologically. Imagine showing this to someone from the early 1900s, when color TV had just been invented, but not yet popularized. While I think the Tile Flex is very cool, I am left with a few questions regarding it and its use. I am mainly curious about how much one of these screens costs. Products like this that are mainly useful in fairly specific scenarios tend to fetch a high price. I would be especially curious to see the difference in price between the rigid Tile product and the Tile Flex, so that I could understand what Planar thinks the ability to flex is worth to the public. I am also curious about how these tiles attach. I am curious if I built curved wall, could I just attach them directly to the wall, or is there a frame I have to buy, form to the shape of the wall, and then I have to use the screens to fill the frame? I don't have much experience with LED screens so I have nowhere to make an educated guess from.
