Yahoo News Singapore: The 2026 MTV VMAs might have taken over Los Angeles on Sunday, but the weekend's biggest music-fashion moment might still belong to Olivia Rodrigo.
Rodrigo entered the winter section of her "The Unraveled Tour" at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Conn., on Friday night in a pale blue collared minidress with a sleeveless bodice, fitted waistband and sharply pleated skirt. Then the rain started.

I appreciate that Olivia Rodrigo is always doing her own thing and continues to outdo herself with the art she brings to the stage. The aesthetics she has assigned to each of her albums all manage to perfect encepsulate the meaning of that vinyl, while aligning with her overall identity as an artist. She is a master at branding herself and made a strategic decision to bring Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo onto her creative team as designers. The first time I saw a clip of the melting dress, I was a bit conflicted by how unnatural Olivia appears as it is melting off her body. She seemed quite stiff, as she kind of has to be for the dress to fall properly, but the moment has grown on me as the tour has continued. I think they just needed a few extra performances to get the timing right. I plan to look into Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo as designers after reading this article, as their runway work is extremely theatrical.
