This whole obsession with the Vegas sphere, is starting to make me kinda upset. Sure it is interesting. But it doesn't deserve all the praise it's getting from these articles. "Oh! look at all the cool things you can experience in the Vegas sphere!" But realistically you can experience most of these things when you aren't at the sphere. There isn't any real benefits to the sphere other than that you are surrounded by a giant screen? But apparently the problem with content that is made for the sphere. Is that it can only be used at the sphere. Design a video or movie to be played in the sphere? Sorry that's gonna be a problem for every other form of displaying content. There was this really strange assumption that especially film production would soon shift to being able to be displayed in a format like this, and it's just not going to happen. Because in order for content to be properly be displayed the sphere. It has to be shot in a specific way. Which prevents it from going to literally every other way of displaying media. The sphere isn't that amazing, and it's not going to revolutionize the industry.
