The concept of unifying everything under one platform really interested me. In my work on productions at LaGuardia and now at CMU, I have seen how complicated it can get when different systems do not communicate perfectly. During tech rehearsals, small data or connection issues can throw off the entire show.I really liked reading about the NETRON V3 update because it shows how much progress is being made in lighting control. Seeing how Obsidian designed V3 to make everything smoother and more reliable makes me curious to see what is next for the future of lighting. I also like that they built these improvements based on feedback from lighting professionals, since it shows a real understanding of what people in the field actually need. Having tools that simplify setup and make troubleshooting easier would save so much time and stress, and I can easily see how this would help both student and professional productions run more seamlessly.
