This was such a cool article to read. I am working with Shannon right now on Fellow Travelers so it was cool to see her perspective of the show and the process from an interview point of view. She is a lovely human being. She is incredibly nice and kind. Those qualities eally come out on stage as well because of the character that she plays. This show is truly beautiful and it has been a privilege to work on as the stage management intern. This story of two gay men during the 1950s red scare trying to carve out a space for themselves is truely mooving and I wich more people got to expirience it. I also love the tagline that marketing has used for this show, “Red Scare, Tinted Purple.” It is hilarious, yet fits so well, both literally and figuratively, because the set is literally tinted purple.
