Bringing my theatrical skills to the sports industry is something I 100% plan on pursuing after graduating. I grew up around sports, watched any kind of sports games on the TV, watched Youtube compliations, you name it. One of those was TNT. When the article said that the set is the fifth character of the show, I completely agree. It’s just like the basketball court that the players play on, or the football field for a football team. It helps them play. For these sport broadcasters, this set is their field or their court. They use it to show clips, or to move around and show specific moves. It’s a space for camera crews to move around as well. The LED walls and columns create nice images for the camera, and at the same time are essential to these sport broadcasters “story telling”. And it draws the audience’s attention, because views are everything on TV!
