neon's Jurassic World: The Exhibition wins accolade
blooloop: neon, a global experience entertainment company, is celebrating Jurassic World: The Exhibition being crowned winner of the Best Visitor Experience 2022 category at the recent Access All Areas Conference & Awards.

I remember going to this exhibit, or at least an exhibit very similar to this when I was in elementary school at my town’s zoo. I thought it was absolutely incredible, the sheer beauty and expert artisanry of the animatronics and general design and production of the exhibit was so dazzling to me. My mother used to be the education director at a small children’s museum in my home town so I got to see pictures of crazy and beautiful exhibits from all over the country pretty regularly but I remember this one the clearest out of all of them. Knowing that the same designers and production team are going to be working on an exhibit for Avatar is extremely exciting as well. I have never seen the movie but I have seen the whole Pandora ride and experience around universal studios in Florida and know how much potential that movie has to offer in this department.
The art of immersive experience is a huge sector of the entertainment industry that I feel doesn’t get enough recognition. I love going to immersive exhibitions because I see them as theatre without actors. Designers and builders work together to create a story that viewers can feel pulled into and immersed in without the aid of any actors. It makes me so happy to see that NEON’s Jurassic World: The Exhibition not only was nominated, but won the award for Best Visitor Experience. I know countless creators, designers, craftspeople, and managers put so much work into the exhibit, and they’re thankfully getting the recognition they deserve. The fact that the attraction was built in less than six months and sold over 315,000 tickets is reason enough that this exhibit deserved the award. I hope that I am able to work on a project like Jurassic World: The Exhibition some day.
