The Wiz is an absolutely amazing show and I can't wait to see it come to Broadway. After reading this article, I am especially excited to see the choreography. This choreographer sounds incredibly talented and I can't wait to see his work. The fact that he choreographed such an amazing and well known work with Beyoncé's Single Ladies when he was only 18 is amazing and proves that he is incredibly talented. He has done so many amazing pieces and has a hugely long list of credits to his name with all of the famous artists he has worked with and choreographed for, the Super Bowl halftime show with Shakira, and all of the pieces he has directed. This show being his broadway debut will be adding just one more credit on to his resume and one more piece to show off his incredible talent. I can't wait to see this show when it opens.

The Wiz is a beautiful show, and I am so excited that it’s coming back to Broadway. There are so many numbers in that with so much potential for incredible choreo. Based on Knight’s background, I’m so interested to see how he incorporated his style of choreography, which has been mainly for music and pop, within the piece. I have a feeling he will make it mesh beautifully. I did not know that he choreographed “Single Ladies” at 18!! That’s insane! The fact that someone of this caliber is on board, I have no doubt that this revival of The Wiz is going to be incredible. “Brand New Day” is going to be absolutely incredible and you know it. I wonder if the other parts of the production are going to bend to suit his more music industry style choreography, or if he will deviate to match the musical theatre setting. Either way, it will be visually stunning.
