This was such an interesting and exciting article to read, particularly for two primary reasons: one, stage managers made this, go them! second, it is a game and who does not like playing games, especially during this pandemic when all one can do is sulk in isolation.
The stage managers that have made this game have made it in a way where the game is interesting, involves collaboration, and is generating income for the creators. That I believe, is the most important thing of this creation.
The game involves multiple rounds, keeping the users engaged till the very end. The game also involves team work, which is always a good thing to engage in, but definitely something that is very much needed today, given the circumstances. This pandemic has put people out- of- touch from each other, which has had terrible affects on their mental health.
I hope that this game gets more coverage, and that more people get involved with it.
THIS IS SO COOL! I love games. Before the pandemic hit, going to escape rooms was one of the past times that my friend group and I would do. Obviously, escape rooms are less than ideal for a Coronavirus world, but I am loving the concept of this game, Twist! I love it even more that it has been created and designed by stage managers. Thinking on it now, stage managers are truly the best group of people to make a board game or any form of interactive game. I am so interested in looking more into Twist and seeing what it is all about. (And I am even more curious if it is something that my friends and I can take part in.)
