I have a very strong feeling that I will see Ryobi rise among the rest of my lifetime. Every time I see Ryobi mentioned in an article, I get a little more excited to see what they have to offer this time. For instance, this compact drill and impact driver set really seems pretty solid. I like how they can call it compact and actually back up that claim by showing the profile of competitors' tools compared to the new Ryobi. Additionally, the way that the impact driver is able to hold its ground among rival impact drivers really just shows that the people at Ryobi may not be around to play anymore. I have always loved seeing cheaper tool brands rise out of the ashes and actually make something for themselves without having to break the bank. Finally, I think for around $150 the set would totally be worth replacing or upgrading a couple tools at home.
