Nothing really beats being able to go experience a Broadway show live an in person, but due to current circumstances that’s obviously not possible. I think it’s pretty cool that there are so many musicals that are available to watch online to sort of keep the spirit of theatre alive. I had no idea that Shrek: The Musical was on Netflix, and now I might honestly have to go watch it later. On Hulu, there’s Sweeney Todd, and since that’s one of my top favorite musicals, I’d be up for rewatching that again too. I also see that this list includes the 2020 movie of Cats which is on HBO Max. The trailer alone freaked me out because of the way they decided to do the CGI for it, so the idea of watching an entire film length of that is definitely not on my ‘to do’ list. Anyways, for people who are a lot more into theatre than I am, I think this list could be a really good reference for them.
