Here's How Cloud Collaboration Improves Productivity

Fusion 360 Blog: Yep, we’re still working remotely. But things have changed. What started as a rocky road for many — forgotten Zoom calls, lost connections with co-workers, downloading the same files after every little update, helplessly staring at unopened email attachments on your phone because they’re too large — has become less of a hassle through a wider adoption of cloud-based platforms that streamline remote collaboration.

I have been a fan of cloud based work for a long time now. Be it Google Drive, Box, One Drive etc. each and everyone of these, with their own benefits and issues, enable the users to a greater degree of technical collaboration. Being able to work on documents or presentations at the same time is such a useful thing. It saves time, storage and brain effort according to me.
Such cloud based activity has especially proven useful with the onset of this never- ending pandemic. People, as averse to the idea of cloud applications, have now been put to test because they have no option but to use these platforms, because of the collaboration and productivity these offer to the people during a time when social distancing is the way of life and there is no way around it. I honestly do not know how I would have been able to work peacefully if these applications were not around.

I love working with applications that have cloud capabilities. I often work on the go, or not at home, especially in this new Zoom era, because I can’t focus in one work space (even more so when it doubles as my home/living space.) Google cloud, Adobe Creative cloud, and all other systems like that have honestly saved my life. The science of it all confuses me deeply, but as long as it works in my favor I am honestly okay with the mystical bells and whistles of the cloud staying foreign to me.
The collaboration aspect is also amazing. Being able to share documents so easily with Google has been changing my life since middle school, and even more so now with my heavier workload.
I love working with the cloud! Let’s keep the cool innovative ideas to work coming!
