Nintendo's Theme Park Is Looking Fantastic

kotaku.com: Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan was supposed to be open by now, but you know, stuff has happened. It’s almost done though, and even if none us are likely to be travelling there anytime soon, we can at least press our disgusting faces up against the glass and admire it from a distance.

I absolutely love theme parks; and the little shot we get to see of the Super Nintendo World in Japan looks so cool! Honestly the park in the video almost seems like CGI because of how clean and videogame - like they were able to make it. It’s even more impressive when you see the comparison between the video and the picture of the concept art later on in the article. Bravo to all fo the artists and designers who worked on the park! It’s really a shame that it could’ve been opened by now had there not been covid. It’s also really exciting that they’re building one like that in L.A., since it probably isn't feasible for a lot of people to travel to Japan to go see it. I hope that I’m able to go the Super Nintendo theme park sometime later on, in either Japan or L.A.

I have never been to Disney world or Disneyland or any of the Disney’s but I feel like I would absolutely thrive at a theme park, and Nintendo theme park sounds like my childhood dream come true. Nintendo has been such a huge part of my life growing up, as it is/was for many people, so it would be really nostalgic and fun to go and experience something like that. I’m sad that COVID is getting in the way of this park fully opening, as it has gotten in the way and shut down many beautiful things, but I can’t wait for it to be fully up and running because I think it would bring a lot of joy to a lot of people. It’s also quite an accepted concept or idea in my opinion, so I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised to hear that something like this exists.

Everyone wants a Theme Park, yet everyone’s theme park is not open. I understand that this theme park has likely been in the works for quite some time and it seems pretty cool. I would not mind going to a Nintendo themes theme park one time. I am actually still excited about the Miyazaki theme park mentioned on this blog not all that long ago. I do have to say that this theme park looks like it requires more space. It seems very constrained and limited to the point where it feels worthless to go to it. This can be true of any theme park because space and realty are of great importance to make a theme park feel great and worthwhile. If you do not believe me then you can look up Disneyland. It has incorporated all kinds of tricks to make sure that it feels bigger and feels spacious because they do not have enough realty and space. This is especially true with the amount of people that visit the park, under normal worldly conditions.
