Shakespeare Iraq Visits Oregon

Stage Directions: Last year at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani, a group of students—including Arabs, Kurds, Sunnis, Shias and Yazidis—formed the group Shakespeare Iraq, and, under the direction of U.S.-trained Peter Friedrich, put on the first known production of English-language Shakespeare in Iraq.
