Production
• Develop the annual production budget and manage annual
production budget
• Plan and produce the production calendar and schedules
• Assist Artistic Director with all props and costume
inventory.
• Develop and maintain database of costume and prop storage.
• Oversee training of all production staff and volunteers per
production. Train backstage crews.
• In conjunction with the Artistic Director hire designers
per show and coordinate schedules,
new‐hire documentation, work permits with Executive Director.
• Create and administer contract agreements in conjunction
with the Executive Director
• Assist in the creation of rehearsal schedules
• Stage Manage ARIEL’S major productions
Facility Management
• Ensure that the theatre’s technical equipment, resources
and facility are properly maintained.
• Ensure that the theatre’s common areas are maintained; i.e.
Green Room, Dressing Rooms,
Rehearsal Space and Laundry Room.
Experience
• Candidate should have theatre production management
background with a minimum of three
years direct experience.
• Previous experience supervising technical crews
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Experience with budgeting and completing shows within
budget
• Hands‐on experience and knowledge of scenic construction,
lighting, and sound are a plus
• Experience with computer/CAD programs as well as Microsoft
office desirable
• Compensation commensurate with experience.
