I remember watching a short video talking about the general production process of a music MV with a lot of special effects years ago. Before AI was a huge thing, they had a whole team of people working with the special effects and animation of the MV, but they couldn’t solve certain problems in months. Later, a lot of people left the project group, and the whole project faded away. But, as AI-generated video has become more advanced in skill, they tried testing on AI, and not surprisingly, AI can already do a beautiful job in days, both solving their stuck problem and completing the whole project. I think the power of AI nowadays is undeniable if we use it properly. Sometimes it really exceeds being a helpful tool, but something that really constructs things. I wouldn’t say AI right now can create original things, but they certainly have the ability to do the basic technical stuff more efficiently. And less time to create an acceptable project will create more profit. On to the point in this article about artists and technicians working together to exceed 100% of their work. I think AI will play a lot in these processes in the future.
