Apple Creator Studio Offers New Tools For Electronic Musicians, Subscription Option
Synthtopia: Apple today introduced Apple Creator Studio, a subscription application bundle that brings together a comprehensive collection of tools for content creation on Mac, iPad and iPhone.
Apple Creator Studio includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Mainstage and several other applications – pro-level tools for music creation, video editing, photo editing and more.

I think this article covers a really interesting topic of tech in music production and software that can help you process. I am excited that Apple is putting effort into updating software for the users. I am especially interested in the updates to the library for Logic Pro. I have always been curious about using Logic Pro as a DAW, so reading the new features have increased my interested in learning more about Logic Pro. What really caught my attention in this article as well was the AI powered synth player. The description describes the AI as helping find patterns, use controls, and use other plug-ins. I am excited to see how AI will assist in the future more with music production, yet I’m also very aware of the effects that this could have on software and music composition in general. I would love to look more into the uses of AI that apple has now put into Logic Pro and if I think that it was a necessary inclusion or not. Either way I am aware that AI will have its role in music very soon like everything else.
GAHHH NOT ANOTHER SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE! Okay I can be calm. But this really grinds my gears. (I'm currently typing this on my mac.) Apple products CAN be the best option, and they CAN allow access to a lot of cool services, but the issue is how exclusive they are. This subscription is going to have an insane amount of followers because the alternative is actually the most outrageously expensive ever. Additionally, while it is nice that one subscription covers the entire ecosystem, you need basically every apple device to fully experience every perk of this subscription. As an owner of a macbook and an iphone, it’s actually insane the amount of times a problem arises or there’s something I can’t do with one device that I should be able to and the answer is always “well when did you last upgrade? Don’t you have an ipad? Why don’t you have airpods?” Oh yes what a good idea I can definitely afford that currently. NO! I’m currently trying to ween myself off of my technology dependency so I can finally stop feeding into this everlasting subscription world where they take our money forever. It’s absurd that we can’t each have one device, and keep it for at least 5-10 years. I hate Apple for so blatantly using our dependency on their tools that they have turned them into weapons. (Additionally, I think there is absolutley zero need to use more AI. We were just fine without it, but I've already been on that rant this morning.)
