This article is very insightful! As a completely new topic to me, George Pappas, the CEO of i5LED, led me to peek into a tiny part of how this industry works. It was really interesting to learn how Pappas's company works behind the scenes. Just like learning about how coffee is made from coffee beans and goes through a long processing, and finally turns into the coffee we drink daily. From the production process to the interaction between companies and factories, i5LED relied on worldwide factories, which reduced its negative tariff effects. I really hoped that Pappas would touch more on the creative side of LEDs. Since LEDs still have a lot of undiscovered possibilities that people haven't touched on. With the increasing use of LED in not just advertising screens on the street and theater lighting, but also in everyday life on our mobile devices, I am curious to see more creative processes behind LED manufacturing.
