Michael Bay Praised For Speaking The Truth About AI In Hollywood
brobible.com: It is not unreasonable to call Michael Bay the greatest big budget Action director of the 90s and 00s. From Bad Boys to The Rock and the entire Transformers franchise he was a hit maker for well over a decade in Hollywood.

Seeing this from on of the most prominent Directors and filmmakers in Hollywood was both a breath of fresh air and funny at the same time. As the article states, Michael Bay's movies are not known for always having the most complicated script, but at the same time were made by people who understood the nuance of working with Michael Bay, meaning the words didn't always need to be the focus. Seeing him say that AI only makes imitation, not creation, is very cool as this conversation starts getting bigger and bigger with the creation and updating of AI tools for writing. Scripts that are written by AI have the potential to be good, but it also is just lazy and takes away from writers who pour their thoughts and souls into what they create. Seeing the public having the same thoughts was also very nice, as I think most people would agree that AI scripts could start being a cop-out for artists who maybe don't have the creativity to create new works and would rather default to using AI. While this a very hard line to draw with a lot of nuance, it was good to see a big name in Hollywood speak out against AI tools for writing.
