Inside Taylor Swift's incredible Eras tour wardrobe that took HUNDREDS of hours to make

Daily Mail Online: Taylor Swift's much-anticipated Eras tour kicked off in Arizona earlier this month, with the country-turned-pop star showcasing an incredible stable of dazzling outfits. In her collection of tour outfits, she has a midnight blue bodysuit from Oscar de la Renta that took 315 hours to construct, and had more than 5,300 crystals and beads hand sewn onto the bodice.

I really liked this article about the Eras tour. I feel like this article really showed how much work goes into the pieces that they choose for concerts. Especially when you have the hours to work with so many looks. I think it’s interesting when they talked about the payment aspect how The designer is getting paid the value rather than monetary payment. This I really thought was interesting because of how much work and hours go into each look. I also really liked that this article show what materials were used throughout each pieces, and how many hours went into and how much money each piece cost because I feel like that really shows, how much talent and dedication goes in to different pieces. I also really liked how they showed the renderings for each piece of her tour. I personally am very impressed with every piece on this tour and wish I could be there

I’m not a huge Taylor fan, but lately I have seen fans buzzing on social media about her different tour outfits and how they compare to her last tour. Her outfits, from what I have seen, have all been absolutely gorgeous. I love Oscar de la Renta’s work and I have been following it for a few years, the bodysuit discussed in the article is beautiful on stage. I do find it odd that the article said that she usually does not pay for the designer clothes, that’s a given, but the way the writer of this article was unable to determine if she/her team paid for the tour outfits is interesting. I see the purpose of gifting her these outfits and obviously these are very famous designers, but over $20,000 for one outfit is mind blowing, and as a gift?? Miss Swift is killing it on that front, bravo.

Anything Taylor Swift does is going to be talked about by millions. Taylor's Eras Tour wardrobe is no different and has been a hot topic among fans and fashion enthusiasts alike all over the internet. As the name suggests the tour features different outfits for each era of Swift's music, from her early country days to her pop to the folklore/evermore eras. Each outfit was meticulously designed to reflect the mood and aesthetic of the era. It was so interesting to learn exactly what went into each piece before Taylor even got to see it. Overall, Taylor’s Eras Tour wardrobe is a testament to her (or rather her designers’) keen fashion sense and ability to embody different styles and aesthetics throughout her career. I didn’t even attempt to get tickets to any of the performances but I will happily watch fans repost all of the outfits. The Era’s Tour was a long time coming. Blondie knows exactly what she’s doing.
