Broadway's Six and TDF Welcomed 1,000 Local High School Students
Playbill: The Lena Horne Theatre welcomed 1,000 high school students for the March 30 matinee performance Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss' SIX. The Broadway show partnered with TDF for its Introduction to Theatre Program to present the special performance, which, for many of the students from 12 local public high schools, was their first Broadway show.

This is something so extremely special, and I wish that I got to experience more things like it when I was growing up. living on Maui I honestly didn't have much exposure to live theater ( just because there wasn't really any), and having something like this may have helped me realize my path earlier on. I remember when I was in elementary school, they brought a couple performing companies around ( but honestly I'm not really sure why, I think it was just a public school system thing where they brought people in from around the country to do smaller shows, but it wasn't really anything where I could realize a passion or honestly realized how special performance was, just because it was being done in a elementary school cafeteria and I didn't understand what was going on in the play or exactly why they were there that day). I really hope these students appreciate this experience and I hope that these performing companies keep it up.
