Rick Caruso, Television City Owner Spar Over Studio Plan Near The Grove

Here we go again. I have said it before and I’ll say it again, because damn it, do I have a strong dislike for Rick Caruso. He is simply the definition of a walking contradiction. I am not surprised in the slightest by the content of this article and what Caruso did. The only reason he opposes this project is because it would potentially detract from one of his twenty some massive developments, in this case, the Grove. Yeah, in his letter there are a few sprinklings of valid reasoning to oppose the project, but some of the items are simply ridiculous, in my opinion. Perhaps I just have a biased view due to my distaste of Caruso, and all of my feelings about this article are skewed, but I truly believe that the only reason Caruso opposes this project is because of its proximity to the Grove. Especially with his claim to be supportive of the film industry. If he truly supports the industry, he should be welcoming the neighboring film studio with open arms.
