I am very curious to look into and read this police report but also I wonder if it is a document that should be kept private. It is hard to believe that a report can be 551 pages but I think it helps people understand just how complicated this situation is. I also wonder if the Santa Fe police department will run into any lawsuits for releasing this report especially if Alec Baldwin wants to sue for slander. I also had no clue they were planning on making a documentary on the incident and the life of Hutchins. I wonder if that documentary might be too soon for the incidents as the real life part of it still has not wrapped up yet alone time to just emotionally process. I am also curious on where they are going to be moving shooting and how many people are going to want to work on the set up especially since this new information of people walking out the day of due to safety concerns.

Every time I read about this I am constantly saddened by the carelessness of the producers on this film. The death of the cinematographer was completely preventable and processes should have been in place to deal with the safety of this firearm. There should have never been live rounds in that gun. This is a perfect example of why union crews need to be hired and the money needs to be spent on proper personnel in EVERY role especially when there is going to be a dangerous stunt like this on set. The fact that crew walked out the day previous due to a lack of safety on set should have been an immediate red flag to stop production and figure out how to proceed in a safe way. And while it definitely was an accident that Alec Baldwin fired this round, he should be held liable as a producer for the film as a whole.

I'm super interested in what the report has to say. I had no idea that there had been weapon misfires throughout production. This definitely makes you ask the question, why on earth were they continuing to mess with the guns in the first place. It was clearly an unsafe set all around. I also didn't know anything about a documentary about Hutchins, but should that be released, I'll definitely be watching that. There are so many unanswered questions in my head. I'm curious to know what Baldwin thinks of this documentary as he's obviously been through a significant trauma of going through the event and the media explosion it caused. Defamation might be a concern of his too. I'm also curious to know what changes are being made to the safety regulations on set in order to continue filming. I'm not entirely sure how I would feel if I were asked to continue the film shoot if I'm being honest.
