Limitless AI immersive show tests limits of media servers

www.avinteractive.com: An army of Hippotizer media servers are feeding vast amounts of visual data to 63 HD projectors inside ArtsDistrict Brooklyn’s Limitless AI immersive experience, filling the 1,000 sq m gallery space with a 360° video.

This immersive experience is cool, and seems like a logical and ethical way to introduce AI to the general public and desensitize them. This is one of those “I’m doing art with AI, but not really”, and I think this way is a more or less okay way to use AI as an assistant for art. I am really curious about the logistics of the exhibition, such as is it going to be a 360 screen, or multiple projections, and if so, how is it going to be masked? How are the projections going to be everywhere, and will the audience’s shadows and bodies block any of the projections? The article says that there will be no glitching or stuttering, but I highly doubt that. A lot of the information in the article was very technical, and will be very hard to understand as the general public, but I’m assuming this article’s target audience isn’t the general public, but people who have more knowledge in the field.
