We know better than most the power that music holds to provoke thought, emotion, and hopefully change. So, I think harnessing this power to benefit Ukrainian refugees and bring attention to this important issue is a very good idea. The idea of a “Concert for Peace” is something that is inspiring and to me brings to light the idea of how we can support the community in such a difficult time. I also think that it's important that they do donate the proceeds to a charity that will do something fiscally to support the cause. My hope is that there is some presence of people with Ukrainian heritage in the creative and production process for this event. Whether that be in advertisement, orchestration, composition or whatever else. It is vitally important to represent the parties that you are trying to accurately portray in cases like this to maintain ethicality and respect for everyone.
