THE MINUTES Will Donate Portion of Ticket Sales to Save the Children's Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund
www.broadwayworld.com: The producers and company of Steppenwolf's production of The Minutes on Broadway announced today that a portion of ticket sales will go to support global humanitarian organization Save the Children's Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund.

I find it funny that literally it's only the first 2 or 3 paragraphs in the article that talk about Save the Children's Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund, and then the rest of the article is just promotional material for the show that they're using the ticket proceeds as donation funding for. It makes sense since more ticket sales = more money for charity, but it kinda just feels like a regular show promotion article to me. Guess there really wasn't that much to say, I guess, not like you need 3 pages to say "we're donating some of our ticket proceeds to charity".
Regardless though, I'm not sure how this show slipped under my radar, it looks great! I've had some experience with city council meetings due to some social studies classes in high school, and those meetings really can be parodies of themselves sometimes. A show satirizing that with a mystery thriller element sounds fascinating.
